Life Coaching for Students
About Me
Helping students discover direction, build confidence, and move forward with purpose.
Student Transitional Education (STE)
Student Transition Education (STE) helps young people turn information into sound decisions as they move from high school into college, the workforce, independent living, and adulthood. It bridges the gap between what students learn in school and the practical judgment real-life decisions require. Students learn to research their options, evaluate information, weigh opportunities against risks, costs, and responsibilities, ask stronger questions, and consider consequences before making a commitment. The Students Help delivers STE through practical courses, resources, and coaching that strengthen critical thinking, personal accountability, and independence—helping students avoid preventable mistakes, build a stable foundation, and move forward better prepared.
Story
My Story
After 20 years of working with young people across public institutions, schools, parks, group homes, one-on-one care, and adaptive recreation, one pattern became impossible to ignore: too many capable students were struggling through major life transitions without enough practical guidance. That experience—and a genuine passion for helping the underdog—led to the development of Student Transition Education, a discipline focused on helping young people judge information, make sound decisions, and apply what they learn to real life. Grounded in business, political science, philosophy, and years of firsthand experience, this work is built on a simple belief: progress comes through good decisions, hard work, personal accountability, and the discipline to keep moving forward.
If I can help someone avoid the struggles I faced, then I know I’m doing the work I was meant to do.
Core Values
The Principles That Guide Our Work
Better futures begin with better decisions—not perfect ones, but informed choices made with purpose.
At The Students Help, we encourage students to understand the path, put in the work, and take responsibility for where their decisions lead.
Understand First
Learn the facts, ask questions, and know what you are committing to.
Make Sound Decisions
Consider your options, risks, and consequences before choosing a direction.
Put in the Work
Hard work beats motivation ten times out of ten. Motivation comes and goes, but consistent effort produces results.
Accountability and Discipline
Own your choices, learn from mistakes, and stay committed when the work becomes difficult.
Mission
Our Mission
The Students Help prepares young people for the moments when life gets real.
Through Student Transition Education, we turn knowledge into practical guidance for college, work, independence, and adulthood.
Our mission is to help students understand their options, make sound decisions, put in the work, and take ownership of their future.
We believe long term success comes from:
- Understand First
- Make Sound Decisions
- Put in the Work
- Accountability and Discipline
- Keep Moving Forward
The Students Help Model turns understanding into sound decisions, consistent effort, and personal accountability. Every program follows The Students Help Standard: practical, honest guidance designed to create lasting progress—not temporary motivation.
The Journey
Discovering Yourself
The Students Help provides practical education, resources, and guidance to help students and young adults navigate school, work, personal development, independence, and the transition into adulthood.
Every service is guided by the TSH Model: understand first, make sound decisions, put in the work, and move forward with accountability and discipline. We believe meaningful progress is built through preparation, consistent effort, and the willingness to learn and adjust.
Through clear written resources, engaging video content, courses, and coaching, we break complex life decisions into practical steps students can understand and apply.
The Students Help is also designed to support meaningful conversation. Upcoming communication channels will allow students to ask questions, share ideas, and learn alongside others working toward greater clarity, stability, and independence.
